• All exposed steel parts are pre-finished with a dark bronze powder coat finish.
• Treads and platforms are formed from 12 ga. steel sheet. We only use HRP&O material.(picked and oiled material produces a better finish.)
• Center column is a sturdy 4" O.D. tubing with a .125 wall welded steel tubing.
• Stair tread hubs from 4 1/2" O.D. pipe (schedule 40) x .237 wall
• Floor plate is stamped from 1/4" steel plate.
• Balcony rails are 16 ga square welded tubing with balusters spaced on 4" centers.
• Handrail is made from aluminum extrusion finished with a one piece rubber composition cover and is assembled in the field.
• Note: Standard 60" stair(with 3 ctr balusters) meets the revised 1994 Uniform Bldg. Code Sections 3305(F)(J) and 1711. Other stair diameters have 2 center balusters.
